Meet The Author

Amb. Hanna Dijok, a wife and a proud mother of three wonderful boys, Thon 14, Kabiel 11, and Andrew Kongo 6. Amb. Dijok is an inspiring woman passionate about people’s development. Born in South Sudan in the late 70s to Mrs. Mary Nyawanglel Lul kuoth and Dr. Andrew Kongo Dijok, Amb. Hanna Dijok would later move to Khartoum in Sudan with her mother and her siblings after the tragic death of their father.
She later moved to Kosti City in the White Nile. Her mother became the only person that they could look up to—their strength and source of comfort. Her upbringing has shaped the woman she is today.
In 1997, Amb. Dijok left Sudan for France to join her elder sister. A few years later, the rest of the family moved to Australia. Despite spending most of her life abroad, Amb. Hanna Dijok has maintained a strong
connection to her country, South Sudan.
